Z Nation - TV Review - Zombies

Last night it was zombie night but Z Nation is no ‘Walking Dead’ nor ‘Fear the Walking Dead’ for sure but I like the lighter side to its tale. There is plenty of zombies to kill or give them mercy they always say that after killing a zombie.

The premise to the show of those who have not seen it before it was three years into a virus-caused zombie apocalypse, which has already killed most humans. In the days just before society fell apart, Murphy (it is all about Murphy) had been one of three inmates at Portsmouth Naval Prison in Kittery, Maine, who were unwilling participants of a government-approved experiment.

Each inmate was given a different test vaccine. When the room is attack my zombies Murphy survives. He was the only known survivor of a zombie bite and didn’t turn into a zombie, and his blood contains antibodies that are mankind's last and best hope for a vaccine.

Murphy
Murphy must be transported from New York City to the world's last known functioning Centre for Disease Control research lab in California. A group are put together to take him on the long journey to California. News is soon out about ‘The Murphy’ and means everyone wants a piece of him, namely his blood leading to many adventures. However, Murphy harbours a dark secret that threatens them all.

Last nights episode Murphy's mission to launch his headquarters in Spokane gains momentum when he saves a girls life. Elsewhere in the Apocalypse, Warren and the motley gang meet Wally the mailman in a bizarre Zombified town. The zombies only interest is to chase Wally around the town but there is a reason why. Plus he has a dark side he is hiding from everyone but he gets his just desserts.

Meanwhile, Citizen Z is stranded in the worldliness in the snowy north and decides to take his new friend, Kaya and her family, across the Arctic tundra to Camp Northern Light.
