Congratulations to Keira Knightley on an OBE in the Queen’s Birthday Honours list. I have found her enchanting ever since she played Juliette 'Jules' Paxton in “Bend It like Beckham” (2002) more a tomboy then feminine she was flat as an ironing board chest wise, as everyone must know by now, I am a chest man I like voluptuous woman.
She may not be voluptuous but she is staggeringly beautiful and I realise that in the 2007 film Atonement playing Cecilia Tallis it was brilliantly directed, acted and a masterpiece of cinematography. We were treated to wonderful performances, lavish sets, shocking and thought-provoking moments, and haunting themes. Set before and during the Second World War she looked the part in that green dress she looked unblieveable.
I think her costumes dramas are by far my favourites like ”The Duchess” a film at chronicled of the life of 18th century aristocrat Georgiana, Duchess of Devonshire, who was reviled for her extravagant political and personal life. Another “Anna Karenina” this time set in the Russian high society of the late 19th century in St. Petersburg where the aristocratic Anna Karenina enters into a life-changing affair with the dashing Count Alexei Vronsky.
She has no problem to strip for her art even in magazines and once claimed that her beautiful appearance has caused problems for her in her career. I can see why with her angelic face which is just as striking with or without make-up, which fits her slender body and the refined clothing she wears for red carpet events just drip off her. In the (2005) film Domino, she played a hard ass bounty hunter but she looked more like a fashion model totally unblieveable in the role.
