CARDIFF CITY have two away games on the trot they travel tonight to Barnsley 7:45pm and Sunday they face Nottingham Forest 3pm boss Neil Warnock will be hoping for more of the same after victory over Brentford at the weekend.
Two first-half goals via Joe Ralls and Danny Ward game the Bluebirds their 10th win of the season and they are still unbeaten at the Cardiff City Stadium. Sitting in third place, the Bluebirds are keeping up the pressure on top of the league Wolves and Sheffield United in second. Victory tonight could see Cardiff move into second if Sheffield lose.
Last season when the two teams faced each other at Barnsley (Oakwell) the game ended in a 0-0 draw and in the return fixture at the CCS Barnsley won in a high scoring game 4-3.
Cardiff have the better form over the last five games giving them the edge going into this game with their opponents languishing at the wrong end of the table in 16th place.
On the team front Cardiff have defender Lee Peltier returning from suspension, Cardiff midfielder Aron Gunnarsson came off the bench for the win over Brentford and could make a first start for nearly two months. As for Kenneth Zohore (ankle), he was doubtful for the Brentford game but his he fit enough to at least have a place on the beach it would be a good sign if he were.
Striker Omar Bogle is still suspended from the red card incident for which he received a three-game ban making him available for the home game against Norwich City.
