Solskjaer under pressure and we need a win

Under pressure
I have been rather quiet on one of my favourite subjects, Cardiff City Football Club, mainly because there has been little to excite me.

Maybe it’s the favourite tag slapped on us before the season kicked off but so far, it has all been a bit of a damp squib. There is already talk among the fans over the manager’s future with the word sack getting louder and louder. With our owner from on high demanding promotion this season, can the manager keep his job? I think myself he should keep one eye over his shoulder because a run of bad results could see him out of the door.

Fans already have a replacement lined up former Crystal Palace manager Tony Pulis who is unlikely to be on gardening duty for too long. Pulis turned around relegated certainties Palace and save them at the expense of the Bluebirds last season. He is highly thought of in the game, he was born local, and a fan of the club to boot.

Tonight City face Middlesbrough, at the Cardiff City Stadium. While that the weekend the Bluebirds were being well and truly thumped our visitors managed a win away from home. Therefore, Cardiff boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is looking to bounce back from that 4-2 defeat to Norwich and ease some of the pain fans felt.

Changes must be made in defence when they let in four goals, squandering a first half lead. Rumour has it that Cardiff will hand new signing Bruno Ecuele Manga his debut along with other changes which we will have to wait and see if they are true or not.
