Strictly shoots down Factor

Realising it's over
So happy to read that the X-Factor took a beating in the ratings on Sunday up against Strictly Come Dancing. Fingers crossed for Simon Cowell to keep his word and kill off X-Factor for poor ratings and losing out to Strictly, which I hope continues.
Despite Cowell’s best efforts to promote is show with washed up singers and an OAP, Strictly took the ratings crown with an audience of 9.4million tuning in to the BBC’s show compared to X Factor’s 9.2million viewers.
He tweeted: "So the numbers are in. Strictly peak 9.4. X Factor peak 9.2. Round one to them.
Such a shame they were both on at the same time!"
For Cowell to insinuate that the Strictly producers are being underhand with their scheduling is like the pot calling the kettle black. He seems to believe his show should be up against a blank screen or something because he has a right to the ratings as well as the Christmas No 1. That is if the British public allow him.
Only last month he was peeved about the BBC scheduling saying it was detrimental to the viewers and his bank balance. One of his attack dogs Cheryl (Cole) Fernandez-Versini has thrown in her ten penneth worth into the debate by stating the X-Factor gives people an opportunities while Strictly was just for pampered celebrities.
The winner of Strictly may win a glitter ball at least they don’t have Simon Cowell milking them dry for every last penny before discarding them.
