The film is renowned for what is the singular sexiest scene ever put on film the famous line "You know how to whistle, don't you, Steve? Just put your lips together and blow." You have to watch it to see why such an accolade is bestowed on the scene. Her part in the film was small but extended after the first takes of the film were viewed.
When I think of the mid-forties, later early fifties, and woman… nine times out of ten, I envision Bacall in a sharp dress suit her trademark, her smouldering looks enough to break any man’s willpower. She was fit, really fit, and young as well and had a great body and although she wore the classic dress suit, she was famous for there was a fine set of pins (legs) under them trousers/slacks.

You don’t see many stars like Bacall naked they have to negotiate the casting couch but she seem to have a neat set of boobs on that slender body. You can see why Bogart jumped ship from his wife to her she had a legion of men interested in her. Before the movie career, she was an in demand model and appeared on the cover of Harper's Bazaar, as well as in magazines such as Vogue.
Having broken her acting virginity in “To Have and Have Not” there were more I catching performances that caught my eye like “North West Frontier” the first time I seen her in a film and where my crush developed. It was not like in the film she was some raving hot goddess. She was playing an older nanny looking after a young prince and no way the hottie she was in her first film. Maybe it was a mummy thing.
