Better thinks to do with my Saturday night

With the Sh*t Factor hitting your TV screens tomorrow the mouth that is Simon Cowell is happy to tell the world the Factor is back at its best with a new judging line-up and better acts. In between heaping praise on his show, he is quite happy to take pot shots at the BBC Saturday night flag show Strictly Come Dancing, joking about the BBC’s lack of a star-studded line-up.

Once again, Cowell misses the point. It is about the journey not about a star- studded line-up most of the British public knows everyone in this show. While with Cowell you get a bunch of wannabes each with a sob story lined up to try and win the sympathy vote.

With Factor, starting tomorrow and Strictly next weekend Cowell and ITV are not happy that Strictly doesn’t end until 20 minutes into Factor. With the Government on the back of the BBC over ratings, they are suggesting is that they are playing games by deliberately targeting the ITV show in a ratings battle. It would same Cowell and is ITV cronies would prefer the BBC to move there show to accommodate them as 8pm on a Saturday night belongs to them.

It wouldn’t surprise me if they demanded the BBC shut down or show the test card during the broadcast of the Simon Cowell money pit show. After watching the audience for Strictly grow over the past few years until last year when it over took Factor in the ratings Cowell as thrown everything into this year’s show starting with two new judges and tweaked the show.

You can bet I wouldn't be watching I would rather watch the test card than this kind of rubbish.
