Must see TV this week

I love the beginning of September it brings a lot of new drama and other shows to our TV screen so there is plenty to look forward to and here are some in my schedule for this week.

There is ‘Danny and the Human Zoo’ about the life of Lenny Henry which he is at pains to point out is loosely based on fact. It’s a one off drama but well worth a watch. It clashes with ‘An Evening with Harry Enfield and Paul Whitehouse on BBC2 so the iPlayer for that.

I have a crush on Alex Polizzi and I just her show The Hotel Inspector some of the people on this show are nuts for not listening to Alex. Well the Hotel Inspector Returns so we get to see what happen and if they stick to Alex’s advice or not.

Another person reliving is teens is Danny Baker in an eight-part series based on his 2013 memoir. Peter Kay stars as Danny’s dad Spud and I don’t have to say much more.
Cradle to Grave Thursday 9pm BBC2

Just after Danny Baker is something else I have been looking forward to watching. Boy meets Girl with a twist. The girl in question was once a man and played by Rebecca Root who was also born a man.
