Road Safety campaign - Russia - Interesting

A road safety campaign claims there have the best way to reduce speeding in Russia and it doesn’t involve speed cameras, sleeping policeman, or any other calming idea well maybe one. Using topless women to carry speed limit signs. The topless stunners – dressed in thigh boots, stockings, and G-strings – were seen strutting around holding speed limit signs in a staged campaign by road safety charity Avtodrizhenia.

The controversial social experiment was staged to raise awareness of the 30,000 deaths on roads every year.

The appearance of the scantily clad ladies had the approaching traffic almost grinding to a halt. You would think it would be more likely to cause a major pile up than prevent it however, there was no accidents due to the distraction.

I would like to see this outside my house as the road is busy and over the years there have been a number of accidents so much so speed cameras were set up which worked. Now the cameras have been switched off the speed has picked up again so there is a need for a creative idea. Scantily clad ladies maybe not a great idea.

Somehow, I can’t see it happen I live close to a number of schools and knowing British drivers there would be a pile up with in minutes.
