If you are a Welshman and a football fan or only have the slightest of interests in the game, tonight the game is what many fans have been waiting for in years and a win could see the adventure carry on.
Tonight’s opponents Belgium were always one of the favourites to win the Euro 2016 tournament. They did not start well losing their opening game 2-0 to Italy but followed that with wins over R of Ireland (3-0) and Sweden (1-0) in the group stages.
Having finished joint top of their group with Italy in the last 16 games they thrashed Hungary (4-0) now there route to the final is blocked by Wales.
Wales and Belgium played in UEFA Euro 2016 qualifying Group B where the Belgium’s may have finish above Wales they failed to beat them over two games, drawing once and losing 1-0 so Belgium should hold no fear for the Welshman tonight.
Therefore, tonight at 8pm I will be sitting in front of the TV kicking every ball, heading every header and making every save willing Wales forward to victory and an unknown future.
