CARDIFF CITY have a Monday night game tonight traveling along the M4 to Reading. Second-placed Cardiff arrive at Reading in a rich vein of form having won their last four league games and looking to make it five tonight. Tonight’s game is live on Sky Sports kick-off 8pm if the game beats the weather. It's going to be a busy month (December) and an important one.
With leaders Wolves slipping-up Saturday at home against Sunderland a win tonight will see Cardiff stay second but will close the gap on the leaders Wolves to just two points. A win would also see them go six points ahead of third place Bristol City so plenty to play for in this game. Reading have had a mediocre season so far and are in the lower end of the league table but you can be sure Cardiff boss Neil Warnock will drum into his players to perform to their best.
Reading have won their last two games against Sunderland (A) Barnsley (H), but will find Cardiff defence a harder nut to crack. Last season Reading did the double over the Welshman winning both games home and away.
Cardiff will be without striker Kenneth Zohore (ankle) until the New Year as a scar tissue problem is treated. Aron Gunnarsson (ankle) and Nathaniel Mendez-Laing (leg) both will have fitness checks ahead of the trip to Reading fingers crossed both will be fit.
