Trollope gone but who next - Warnock or Who

So the people in charge at Cardiff City have finally woken up to what most of us have known for a while Paul Trollope had to go. To be honest it should have happen weeks ago and definitely after the Burton on game Saturday.

So what happens next? How long must we wait for a replacement? I see the bookies have all but given the job to Neil Warnock and of course, it wouldn’t be a proper race without Ryan Giggs (6/1) and Craig Bellamy (10/1) being linked. The sooner someone is named the quicker they can get to work and shake up this under achieving squad of players.

Known for turning clubs around Neil Warnock last season saved Rotherham from relegation before leaving after not being offered the permanent job at the end of the season. Look where they are now. He said at the time he had one job left in him and wanted it to be somewhere where he felt they had a chance of making it into the Premier League.

New Manager ... Maybe
Warnock as recently been working for Sky Sports punditry on League football and if he was the chosen one is first game would be on Sky against Bristol City on October 14, the Sevenside derby.

Acconding to the Inside Football website

Cardiff will appoint Neil Warnock as their new manager on Wednesday, according to a reliable journalist.
The Sun’s Football League correspondent Tom Barclay revealed the veteran former Leeds, QPR and Crystal Palace manager will be installed at the Cardiff City Stadium.
Giggs and Bellamy have little experience in management. Giggs had some at Manchester Utd as caretaker but he is reported to have not impressed when he talked to Swansea if newspaper reports are to be believe. Bellamy would be to totally shot in the dark but we know he has passion for the club.

Why we haven’t taken a leaf out of Swansea’s recent managerial swap I don’t know. As one was walking out of the door, his replacement was clambering over him to get at his desk. I suppose we will have to wait on his holiness Vincent Tan to do whatever he does these days have a lucky dip to pick the new manager. This will be the sixth manager under Vincent Tan’s ownership in seven years not good stats.
