A somewhat quite week on TV if you are looking for new TV after last week gave us much. Highlights last week the return of two of my TV favourites, The Walking Dead and Z Nation I love a bit of zombies’ drama.
This week there is the return of Gold Rush to look forward to and from reports, this season will be explosive as Parker Schnabel and Tony Beets bang heads which is always fun. Rick Ness as parted company with Parker taken a leasing on some ground and will be running his own operation. Has for Parker’s long-term rival, Todd Hoffman as given up on gold and he was pretty bad at finding it.
Also, I recommend Celebrity Hunted where celebrity spend 14 days on the run from some seasoned hunters trying to track them down.

Tuesday – Channel 4 – Celebrity Hunted 9:15pm (New Series)
To raise money for charity, eight celebrities are going on the run. But this isn’t a 5k jog in the park – this is the run. Being chased by the fearsome crack team of Hunted investigators, the aim is to avoid detection for 14 days. Dom Joly, AJ Pritchard, and Louis Smith are among the celebs being traced – although there are some names, you’d be happy not to be found (Sky News anchor Kay Burley is also among the fugitives).
Tuesday – BBC4 – There she Goes 10pm (New Series)
Bath time, bedtime, and eating up are familiar battlegrounds for any parent. But for Simon (David Tennant) and Emily (Jessica Hynes) even the simplest routines are almost stupefying difficult: their nine-year-old daughter Rosie can’t form sentences and they have the scars to show how uncooperative and mischievous she can be.
It's a typical Saturday for Rosie Yates's family, starting with an attempt to get her to the park for some fresh air, but things don't go to plan.
Wednesday – BBC1 – Without Limits: Australia 8pm (New Series)
Part one of two. Following the critically acclaimed series Without Limits: Vietnam, and to mark the 2018 Invictus Games in Sydney, this observational documentary sees a team of injured British and Australian veterans - Martin Hewitt, Shaun Stocker, Keanie Trick, Matt Tolson and Dean West - embark on an extraordinary 1,000-mile expedition across Western Australia's remote Kimberley region. The team's route follows the Gibb River Road, an old stock route of mostly unpaved road. Spreading over Australia's entire northwestern corner, the Kimberley is three times larger than England but with a population of less than 40,000.
Wednesday – Dave – Zapped 10pm (New Series)
The woes of Brian Weaver (James Buckley) continue into a third series as this befuddled Earthling is now trapped in a “travelling Amazematorium” in the mad fantasy land of Munty, doing the bidding of a cruel and not uncamp ringmaster played by Steve Coogan. That it’s such a sharp return to form for this underrated, beguilingly inventive comedy is partly down to the decision by the writers to plonk perhaps its best character – Paul Kaye’s wizard Howell – at Brian’s David Brent-style workplace in suburban London.
